Jenni’s PhD research was set within the situational action theory (SAT) framework and was an empirical investigation of the mechanisms underlying violent action. Jenni’s work focused particularly on the underlying role of morality in the perpetration of intimate partner violence.
From 2009-2013 Jenni worked as a research assistant for the Peterborough Adolescent and Young Adult Development Study (PADS+), and led the research team for Sweep 7 (2012). Jenni finished her PhD early 2017 and is now back at the centre as a research manager.
