Linnea Schumacher is a PhD student at the Department of Criminology at Malmö University, supervised by Anna-Karin Ivert, Marie Torstensson Levander and Klara Svalin. She holds a Masters and a Bachelors degree in Criminology, both from Malmö University. Besides her PhD project on intimate partner violence in adolescence and young adulthood, Linnea is also a part of the research project ’When violence becomes an acceptable action alternative. An analytic criminology approach to advance our understanding of the causes of violent crime’.

Linnea's main research interests are intimate partner violence, attitudes towards violence and violence perpetration and offender characteristics.
