Research
Alongside her master’s studies, Giulia worked as a part-time Research Assistant in the Neuroscience and Mental Health Lab at the Institute of Cognitive Neuroscience at UCL. Her work involved participant recruitment, data collection, and data preprocessing for a neuroimaging study examining the effects of cognitive behavioral therapy on neural circuitry of anxiety in adults.
Giulia's research interests lie in developmental behavioral science, with a particular focus on adolescent mental health and behavior. She is specifically interested in the neurodevelopmental mechanisms underlying mental health disorders during adolescence, and how these interact with environmental and social factors over time.
